Though I think that a description of the pizza alone should suffice, I thought I would entertain you with some random bits of information as well. The Cheeseboard has been making the illrichest (courtesy of JH) Pizza since 1985 (they knew I was coming). As you all know, I have had the unfortunate luck of always going to the Cheeseboard when it is closed. But it isn't really my fault. They are only open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:30AM-3:00PM and 4:30PM-8:00PM for lunch and dinner respectively. I might also mention that they are closed on most major holidays and whenever Cal is not in session. Moral of the story: I should just start skipping work to go get pizza, since that is the only time they are open... Seems simple enough to remember. I guess I just always get distracted with their pizzas!
Their pizzas are fantastic! I can't describe in words how good their pizza is. Even better is their business model. They only serve one type of pizza a day. Which means, for the indecisive amongst us, that you never have to decide what you want to order. You just have to decide whether you want a slice, a half pie, or a whole pie. Because there are no choices, the wait the is minimal. Moreover, if you don't bother to go online, it's a bit like Christmas everyday, because the pizza is always a good and always a surprise. Besides, they always give you a little extra pizza!
